How to Measure Your Foot to Find the Right Shoe Size

At AVOS, we are a small business dedicated to providing a premier product that no one else offers. Our slides are designed to deliver unmatched foot therapy while ensuring a high-quality experience with what we believe is the easiest and most accessible therapy available—simply slip them on and go about your day while effortlessly improving foot health, flexibility, and circulation. Improving foot health doesn’t just benefit your feet—it has a direct impact on your entire body, influencing posture, balance, mobility, and overall well-being.

We understand that sizing can sometimes be tricky, and while we are happy to provide replacements if a different size is needed, exchanges take additional time and expenses on our side. Please note that we must receive the returned product before we can ship out a new size, which can add an extra week or two to the process, depending on shipping times. That said, we truly appreciate our customers taking the time to measure their feet and refer to our size chart before ordering. This small effort helps ensure the best outcome for both you and us—minimizing unnecessary exchanges while allowing us to continue our pursuit of improving foot health and developing future progressive products. Your support helps us push forward in making innovative solutions that promote better movement and well-being.

How to Measure Foot Size

For the most accurate measurement, measure your feet at the end of the day. Feet tend to swell throughout the day, and your measurement may be slightly larger in the evening than in the morning.

  1. Wear the same type of socks you plan to wear with the slides.

  2. Place a piece of paper flat against a wall and secure it with tape to prevent slipping.

  3. Stand with one foot on the paper, ensuring your heel is touching the wall. You can also sit in a chair, but make sure your foot is firmly planted on the ground.

  4. Using a pen or pencil pointed straight down, trace the outline of your foot. If possible, ask someone to help with this step to ensure accuracy.

  5. Repeat with the other foot, as one foot may be slightly larger than the other.

  6. Mark the tip of your longest toe and the outermost part of your heel.

  7. Use a ruler or measuring tape to measure the distance between these two points. For the most precise measurement, use centimeters rather than inches.

Note: If your feet are two different sizes, use the measurement of the larger foot when selecting your size.

Now that you’ve measured your foot size, compare your measurements against the AVOS Shoe Size Chart below to find your best fit. While some shoe brands may use similar sizing, it's important to check each brand’s size chart, as exact sizing and fit may vary.

AVOS Shoe Sizing Guide

Unisex Sizing Explanation

AVOS shoe sizes are based on the leading shoe brand's slide dimensions. AVOS follows a similar structure, where:

  • Each Men’s size corresponds to a Women’s size that is 1.5 sizes larger.

    • Example: A Men’s size 5 is equivalent to a Women’s size 6.5.

AVOS Shoe Size Chart

Men’s Size Foot Length (cm) Foot Length (inches) Women’s Size
5 23.5 cm 9 1/4" 6.5
6 24.5 cm 9 5/8" 7.5
7 25.5 cm 10" 8.5
8 26.5 cm 10 3/8" 9.5
9 27.5 cm 10 3/4" 10.5
10 28.5 cm 11 1/4" 11.5
11 29.5 cm 11 5/8" 12.5
12 30.5 cm 12" 13.5
13 31.5 cm 12 3/8" 14.5
14 32.5 cm 12 3/4" 15.5

Sizing Recommendation

If you’re between sizes, we always recommend sizing up rather than down. A little extra space is better than not enough.

Example: If your foot measures exactly 11 inches, we recommend a Men’s size 10, which is 11.2 inches long.

Important Notes About Our Product

  • The ball-shaped insert is specifically designed to target the plantar fascia near the heel—an area identified by doctors as having the most positive effect on overall foot health when properly cared for.

  • Unlike any other product on the market, AVOS slides act as a mobile foot massage station. While designed to target the heel, wearers can adjust their foot placement to massage different areas, such as the ball of the foot, arch, or any sore spot. This means you don’t have to stand still to get the benefits—you can walk around the house while still receiving foot therapy, making it effortless to stay consistent.

  • Just because we include insert sizes 1, 2, and 3 does not mean the goal is to use the largest insert (3). The inserts are designed to provide options for all users—whether you have flat feet, high arches, or need varying levels of pressure. Some assume starting with the most aggressive insert (size 3) is best, but we always recommend easing into AVOS therapy for optimal results. AVOS slides should create slight discomfort as they engage the foot, but they should never cause pain. If they do, try a lower insert size for a more comfortable experience. Over time, as your feet adapt, you may find yourself naturally progressing to a higher insert and feeling less sensitivity than when you first started. Notably, AVOS’ best effect is most noticeable after completing a short session, as the improved blood flow and flexibility become apparent once the slides are removed.

  • At this time, we do not sell the inserts as a standalone product, but we plan to offer them in the future as we continue to expand. Be sure to check our product page to see if they are available—if not, we’re still working on it!

Why AVOS is Unlike Anything Else on the Market

The biggest advantage of AVOS slides is the ease of consistency—something no other product offers. Unlike traditional foot massage tools that require dedicated time and effort, AVOS allows you to effortlessly work on your feet while going about your daily routine.

Most people only address foot pain when they remember or when a doctor tells them to. But having a pair of AVOS in your living space turns what used to feel like a chore into something as simple as seeing them, slipping them on, and taking care of yourself. This ease of use is what makes AVOS truly life-changing, as reflected in our reviews. Don’t be shy—let us know what you think! Your feedback helps us grow and improve.
